How does the Mail Signature
Manager solution work?
The solution consists
of three components: 1) the administration interface
where you design signatures, manage deployment and
check the status of deployment, 2) the database
where your signature templates and all deployment
settings and statuses are stored, and 3) a small
executable, which is responsible for deploying signatures
to your users via your logon script, via netlogon,
or using group policies.
Can we have individual signatures for individual
groups and users?
Yes, you can have individual signatures for individual
groups and for individual users.
Can we have multiple signatures and let users
choose which one to use when sending mail?

users can then choose which one to use when sending
mail in Outlook. Multiple signatures can, for example,
be useful if you need signatures in different languages.
Note that Outlook Web Access does not support multiple
signatures.

or not on the user side.

affecting the performance of Exchange Server?

settings need to be changed.
